Waterfields — An Audiovisual Exploration of Infrastructure Interwoven with the Coastal Landscape of Giorgino
Water, earth; living materials ever-changing. Merging in an eternal embrace, they shape the landscape, they paint new forms over time, generating new figures. Since the past, man has inhabited the lagoon landscapes to exploit the natural resources they offer, fostering the biodiversity of ecosystems and creating a deep relationship between productive function and ecological balance. Today, landscape and architectural design, can renew the identity of places and guide the city towards a sustainable reappropriation of the lagoon. It draws new relationships of meaning capable of responding to environmental, cultural, and functional changes over time. Finally water fields become the forms of our age.
